This month marks the debut of unisex fashion brand, UTER @uter.official, from Los Angeles-based French stylist and artist, Philippe Uter. Developed during the pandemic, the collection fuses American modernism with European chic.
The initial three-piece capsule line consists of a button-front short-sleeve shirt, flowy trousers, and shorts. Bottoms are fully lined (moving seamlessly from lounge to street), finished with buttons and an elastic waistband for added comfort. Each garment is adorned with a unique print inspired by one of Philippe’s own paintings. The pieces are composed of 100 percent twill silk and offered in four colors: black and white with red accents, indigo blue with scarlet, sage green with vermilion, and coral pink with mint green.
“Each piece is a wearable work of art, perfect for those who appreciate the intersection of fashion and art,” says Uter. “The silk fabric drapes beautifully on the body, offering a luxurious and elegant feel. And the matching sets look instantly polished and pulled together, to help simplify the process of getting dressed. “
Uter is available at The Webster in Los Angeles.
