At the start of September, Aveda launched its first line of vegan liquid lip balms and lip glosses. Made from a superfruit blend consisting of pomegranate, mangoosteen, avocado, and acai, each of the lip balms and lip glosses restores your lips as you wear them. The Feed My Lips Pure Nourish-Mint lip gloss and lip balm both come in seven shades. The balm’s 7 shades are high-coverage while the lip gloss offers sheer-to medium-coverage across 7 styles. Similar to the Feed My Lips lipsticks that preceded them, these new vegan products come in colors that are specifically designed to compliment the haircolor of whoever wears them.
The lip glosses are derived from 98% natural products while the balms are derived from 93% natural products. Both offerings are remarkable for their long lasting nature and their shared abilities to add a soft and smooth texture to the wearer’s lips. Both of the new products are free from silicones, parabens, phthalates, synthetic fragrance, and animal byproducts, offering a clean solution to the conscious consumer’s search for lipwear.
The new lip products has been available nationwide since September 1 in select Aveda salons, stores and online at Aveda.com and was used throughout NYFW.
