Pianist, Singer, and Keyboard Player, Antonio Roman is truly a jack of all trades. Growing up, music played a huge part in his life which drove him to discover his career path as a musician. However, this is more than just a career…music is his passion and what he hopes to dedicate the rest of his life too. Truly inspiring, there is no doubt Antonio Roman is on his path of light!
Hello Antonio, could you share with us your story as a musician and tell us how it all started?
I was always surrounded by all types of great music growing up therefore it was only natural to become a musician. I was inspired by all the music I’ve heard as a kid and since I can recall, I’ve always wanted to dedicate my entire life to music.
You are a pianist, a singer, and a keyboard player. Can you explain how you managed to fit in all those positions?
For me being a musician is more than a profession, it’s a lifestyle. What really matters at the end of the day is the music and the most crucial aspect of my craft. In my opinion, it’s during the songwriting process that the real magic occurs.
How were you introduced to the music industry? Have you always dreamed of becoming a musician?
Since I moved to LA, I was fortunate enough to work in the music industry right away. There’s not an acceptable scenario in my mind where life, other than a professional musician, is even conceivable.
What motivated you into becoming a pianist? Any technical skills you’d like to share with us?
I firmly believe that solo piano music is a very powerful form of expression that really resonates with people. That’s where the main inspiration for DREAM MAZE came from and what my fans were really waiting for.
What was the most interesting project you worked on as a pianist and since your career began?
The most interesting project, as well as the one I’m the most proud of in my solo piano career is without any doubt DREAM MAZE. It’s available on all major platforms such as Spotify, Itunes, Amazon, YouTube and many more.
We know you have a solo career and another one with your band “Voltagram”, could you please tell us more about it?
VOLTAGRAM style is the combination of electronic music and my love of rock, more specifically alternative/modern rock. I’m proud to say that VOLTAGRAM has to offer a musical journey like no other, as well as DREAM MAZE.
What kind of projects do you see yourself involved in, in the future? Could you mention some of your upcoming projects?
I’m excited to announce the future upcoming release of the feature film “Inside The Circle” by Moras Productions where I had the pleasure to write and record all the original music as well as more music with my band VOLTAGRAM.
How would you describe your life as a musician?
Being able to wake up every morning and knowing my entire day revolves around doing music really makes me happy. The only challenge of my job is that there are not enough hours in a day to do all the projects that I want to do at the same time.
