How did your hometown of Miami influence the sound of “Contigo?”
When I listen to Contigo, I picture myself on a boat with my friends and family. I really wanted to keep this song very close to home and have the guitar and bass bring me back to the boat days and dance floors in Miami.
What do you want listeners to take away from the single?
I really want listeners to just break out into dance with their friends and sing the lyrics. I wanted this song to be fun, catchy, and make you feel free!
Tell us about the collaboration with Teddi?
Teddi is so easy to collaborate with. He’s very quick with his work and he is so talented. Living with him definitely makes it easier to collaborate but nonetheless his bars are unreal!
What’s next for you?
Contigo is actually a song that’s on my first EP! It will be out in the summer, so I had to put out something before then so people get a feel for what’s coming.
