Dylan Perlot is a French-born, Los Angeles based photographer, who has created various projects and has an impressive list of achievements since he first came to Los Angeles. Dylan spoke with us at Bello about his career, what he’s done already, and what he’s looking forward to in the future.

Dylan developed an interest in art at a young age and when he came to LA, he saw photography as the career path that could get him where he wanted. He shared “it all clicked the moment I first visited LA, at the age of 18 that I realized all the opportunities a career as a photographer could offer. I think you need to be in the right environment to discover your true self. Being surrounded by artists and admiring the work of famous photographers made me understand that it was what I wanted to do for the rest of my life.” Dylan’s favorite part about being a fashion photographer is “creating and the fact that there is no set rules and no right or wrong answers.”

Throughout his career, Dylan has built an impressive resume for himself. His work has been published in Cosmopolitan Mexico, Vogue Italia, L’Officiel, and many more. His most recent achievement includes a digital cover for Harper’s Bazaar Vietnam. Dylan shared what he was most excited about, explaining that “like all shoots, I was excited to create the vision I had in mind with some of my favorite people that I enjoy working and creating with.” This career has also given Dylan the opportunity to work with celebrities he admires, such as Rose McGowan; as he recalls, “I’ve always been a fan of Rose, and the show “Charmed” as a kid. I was honored to work with her! The shoot was a success and the photos came out beautiful. It was a proud moment when we released the photos.”
As for the future, Dylan is looking forward to it. He recently signed with Exclusive Artists and enthusiastically discussed “they’re so supportive of me and I’m excited to see what the future has for us!” He has many projects in mind and doesn’t have just one type that he can label as his “dream shoot,” but he looks forward to “shooting in places I’ve never been and capturing unique stories is what I aspire to continue doing.” Dylan has worked his way up in the photography world and there are surely more amazing things to come – here at Bello we are so excited to see what he does next!
