It is that time of the year where we start picturing ourselves somewhere warm and sunny. Yes even us, living in the southland of California are getting drenched and waking up to a gloomy sky.

My favorite summer destination remains the south of France. St Tropez area precisely. The rolling hills of olive trees kissing the shades of blues of the Mediterranean Sea. St Tropez is surrounded by a ton of coastal towns and gorgeous inland properties nested in between vineyards. Prices range from affordable to “I wish”.

It is still a region where you can own a piece of paradise for a relatively decent price. For example this home located in “Ramatuelle” located just south of St Tropez in a prime real estate area and is offered at 5 600 000 EUR. source.

If your budget does not allow the prime by the sea location, inland towns can provide similar lifestyle and you remain a short drive from the coast. This home is located 30 mis drive north of St Tropez and is offered at 585 000 EUR. A considerable price tag drop that will leave some budget for the cosmetic adjustment to make it look like a million bucks, actually 5 million Buicks to be precise.

The plus side of this inland location is less crowd in the summer but still a quick drive to the beach and a 5 minutes drive to some cure vineyards where you can get your Rosé directly from the producer., like Chateau Sainte Roseline. A win win. Source
