Watching and listening to opera outdoors with waves lapping in the background, beautiful stars above your head, and surrounded by fellow music lovers – sounds like a dream! LA Opera presents Opera at the Beachon Saturday, September 28, at the Santa Monica Pier, where it will simulcast live La Boheme from the Dorothy Chandler Pavilion.
About Opera at the Beach:
Be transported to the bustling café’s and hidden corners of 19th-century Paris in Giacomo Puccini’s La Bohème. The opera will be transmitted live in high-definition video from nine cameras at the Dorothy Chandler Pavilion to a large LED screen on the Santa Monica Pier for free. Bring your blankets and lawn chairs and experience the music and romance of La Bohème under the stars.
