During the confinement, the French house Balmain imagines #BalmainEnsemble to continue to federate its community.
Olivier Rousteing, Balmain’s artistic director, has been using social media since the beginning of the confinement period to entertain its subscribers. After sharing many choreographies, the French designer launches the #BalmainEnsemble hashtag, a project designed to unveil the brand’s archives, inspirations, trade secrets and stories. “We may be apart, but there is no need for anybody to be alone. Clearly, this is a moment when we all need to connect and to communicate. At Balmain, we’ve appreciated your support over so many seasons. Now, we want to try to support you. While we navigate our way through the next few weeks, even though we may be physically apart, we want to make sure to connect with you. We want to share stories, memories, inspirations and creations from the Balmain family and from artists and creatives that we love and admire. We belong together, even when we’re apart” said Oivier Rousteing in the video.
