If you weren’t excited enough about The Jonas Brothers reunion, Nick Jonas has decided to grace us with his presence as a coach on The Voice. Nick will sit alongside Blake Shelton, John Legend, and Kelly Clarkson in 2020 as they help determined artists achieve their singing dreams. He took to Ellen on Monday to announce the news, with welcomes from fellow coaches. NBC’s singing competition show is known for its blind auditions in which the coaches choose talent based on just their voices. The talent gets to choose which team to join and is guided by their celebrity coach for the remainder of the season.

Nick Jonas will be filling the red chair of Gwen Stefani, who replaced Adam Levine this season. Jonas is no stranger to The Voice stage, as he performed with his brother band The Jonas Brothers on the Season 16 finale and was featured in the songwriting competition series, Songland. The NBC team is impressed by Nick’s ability to navigate the music industry and feels that he will offer his mentorship, passion, and musicality to the hopeful singers. His work on Songland proved that he has the experience and knowledge to be a great coach on the show.

Nick shared that he can’t wait to be part of The Voice family and “to help these artists really build and hone in to find their unique voices.” The Jonas Brothers are currently having a whirlwind of a year since they’ve announced their reunion, a new album, and a world tour. Nick will be finishing up their “Happiness Begins Tour” in February before his debut in the red chair this spring. Until then, watch Season 17 of The Voice and wait for your chance to be on Team Nick.
