With Women’s History Month celebrations in full swing, global music and entertainment streaming service, TIDAL has curated exclusive playlists for the month that highlight and honor the female artists making history across various genres, including Pop, K-Pop, R&B, Country, Electronic, and more. These “History In The Making” playlists are filled with women that are securing their names in the record books.
TIDAL has continued to prove that their platform is truly built with the artist in mind, and that they are dedicated to building the careers of the up-and-comers. Earlier this year, TIDAL announced their 2022 Artists to Watch list, which highlighted the names they predicted would be making a splash in 2022 across various genres. K-Pop rising idols like aespa, IVE, BIBI, Seori, CAMO and Kep1er were some of TIDAL’s K-Pop Artists to Watch, as well as Nia Archives for Electronic, and Nija for R&B.
If getting to be an early listener to the sounds of history isn’t enough, TIDAL has also received an exclusive playlist from award-winning actress Tracee Ellis Ross to help remind women, and especially women of color, of their inner strength and worth. With songs like Chaka Khan’s “I’m Every Woman” and Beyoncé’s “FORMATION” to “Still I Rise by Maya Angelou and her new single with PATTERN Beauty titled “LEGACY,” the playlist offers a variety of songs to provide solace, inspiration and unity. A link to her playlist, titled Tracee Ellis Ross: Providing Healing, Promoting Hope, can be found here.
All these components add up to make TIDAL’s legendary Women’s History Month content.
