Good things come in small packages…A major congratulations is in order for fitness influencer Anna Victoria, as she announces her first pregnancy! The workout star has been open about her infertility struggles for the past couple years.
“My best kept secret…” Victoria shared on her Instagram. “Baby Ferretti due August 2020 #pregnant #stillinshock #isthisreallife.”
The 31-year-old featured some sweet shots with husband and father-to-be Luca Ferretti alongside their sweet pup, Rigatoni. Smiles all around.
But the journey to pregnancy has not been a smooth one for Victoria. For two grueling years Victoria struggled with unexplained infertility. After several failed attempts of both IUI (intrauterine insemination) and IVF (in-vitro-fertilization) the couple learned not to get their hopes up too high. “If there’s one thing I’ve learned through this whole process, it’s that we need to stop putting a timeline on aspects of our lives, from babies to careers, relationships and more,” Victoria shared in an interview with TODAY Parents. “Your journey to creating a family might take longer than expected and it might look different from what you expected, too. IUI, IVF, donor sperm, egg donors, adoption… There are so many different ways to start a family.”
