Los Angeles is no stranger to wanting healthier alternatives to life and has become the absolute epicenter for healthier consumptions of food in the industry. Easy to say, we here at Bello were immediately excited to find out that on June 22nd (and just in time for the arrival of Summer) Eat Drink Vegan’s is celebrating their 10th Anniversary event at the Rose Bowl in Pasadena. This sounds like the place to be for food, fun in the sun and the best place to experience any and all goods vegan!
We are all about trying new things and being the first to post online about it so cannot wait to try the foods, curated kombucha, wine, and beer that we will find at the Eat Drink Vegan event. We know we won’t be able to try everything in sight but challenge accepted! Guests will be treated to explore various restaurants and vendors totaling to over 250 beverages available on sight! Vendors are not limited to but will include 101 Cider House, 14 Cannons, 3 Chiefs, and Ace Cider with food stations like Monty’s Good Burger, Vegatinos, Magpies, Triple Bean Pizza, Pure Vita, Cena Vegan, Pizzanista! and MORE!
In addition to the delicious vendors, the festival will also boast the culinary talents of Roy Choi (the founder of the Kogi food truck and featured on Netflix’s The Chef’s Show), Mary Sue Milliken (co-owner of Border Grill and featured on Top Chef Season 3), Shirley Chung (owner of Ms. Chi and featured on Top Chef Season 11), Bruce Kalman (Executive Chef at Union in Pasadena), and Marcel Vigneron (owner and chef at Beefsteak and featured on Top Chef and Top Chef Allstars). These chefs will be part of an exciting live demo taking place from 1 pm to 5 pm at the Eat Drink Vegan event!
Let’s just say we can’t wait for the food coma that will be expected but at least we won’t feel guilty.
