The best French experience in California – LouLou’s of Santa Monica – will be adding ‘joie de Vivre for guests when it hosts an entertainment-packed first anniversary with its “Bal de Versailles“ on July 14, from 6 pm.
LouLou’s ‘Royal Court’ – marking French National Bastille Day – will present red-carpet entertainment with a live performance from French singer Chloé Perrier and her band, as well as DJs, Stilt walkers, Royal performers, Cancan dancers, and much more.
Guests are being urged to dress to impress at the faux-French Royal Court, where Chef Stanislav Suchy will be center stage with a gastronomic display of food delights.
The menu, fixed at $75, will include:
Amuse bouche: Petrossian Royal Osetra Caviar with crème fraiche on potato blini
Appetizer: Burgundy escargots, garlic anise butter, walnuts, or Salmon tartare, avocado, salmon roe, crispy bread.
Entrée: Duck à l’orange, haricot vert almondine, or Bouillabaisse
Dessert: Chocolate fondant with crème anglaise, or Crème brulée
Set atop legendary Route 66 with an Ocean view, LouLou offers an intimate and refined dining
experience that immediately transports guests to the sun-kissed shores of the French Riviera, with a ‘soupçon of Cali living”!
